Father of two toddlers and founder of Update. I’ve spent the last 10+ years in tech, headhunting for tier-1 companies like Atlassian and Canva.

These days, I focus on two things:

• Helping top Aussie & NZ scale-ups build high-performing Engineering, Product, and Design teams.

• Partnering with early-stage startups to find those key first hires who will shape the company’s future.

I work with a small group of clients, helping them scale their teams the right way. For several of them, I’ve built entire teams—15 to 25 Engineers + Product Managers + Designers. These are hires who don’t just do the job but stick around and make an impact.

My focus isn’t about just filling roles. It’s about long-term hiring for key positions. I take the time to understand a company’s culture, tech stack, and vision so every hire adds real value. No endless recruiter competition, no random resumes—just the right people for the job.
